"A brief history of me: I have been riding for almost my whole life, although the first decade of my riding ‘career’ was only weekly lessons at a riding school. When I was 13 I was lucky enough to be offered a more permanent ride on a pony belonging to a family friend, which subsequently got me into the pony club and opened my eyes to the wonderful world of competing. I then progressed onto competing the DC’s hunt master for a couple of years until, at the age of 17, I finally bought my first horse, whom I owned for two years before selling her on. Then on Christmas Eve of 2017 I had my first ride on, unbeknownst to myself at the time, my future forever horse, Ant. Ant belonged to the same friend who owned my first ‘loan’ pony 10 years prior. I quickly fell in love and jumped at the chance to have him on full loan in the summer of 2018, going on to buy him in January of 2019.
The lovely Anthony: Ant is a 12 year old, 16.1hh Dutch Warmblood showjumper. To sum him up, he is the most talented & most opinionated horse I have ever sat on. The word ‘unique’ pops into my head when trying to describe him, and you only have to watch him for a minute to see how he earnt his nickname ‘Naughty Anthony’. He has taught me more in the last year three years than I’ve learnt in all my years riding before him, and I absolutely adore him. "
