🍊Orange peel oil is one of our favourite essential oils, not only for its fresh, invigorating scent but also for its cleaning power!
Citrus oils contain limonene and linalool, which are naturally occurring components of essential oils that happen to be fantastic at breaking down excess oil and grease. Whilst these compounds are present in many other essential oils too, citrus oils typically contain higher concentrations of limonene - hence why oils such as orange, lime and grapefruit are commonly found in cosmetic and cleaning products alike.

P.S. Our lime, mandarin and orange oils are produced from the peel of fruit that are by-products of the juice industry in areas of large-scale cultivation like Argentina, Florida and Mexico. By extracting these wonderfully versatile essential oils from peels that would otherwise be thrown away, we're making great use of a by-product that would otherwise go to waste. 💚🌍
