Since Ethique was founded in 2012, our commitment to sustainability has included 20% of our annual profits being donated to charities working on animal welfare, environmental protection and community education.
Our newest initiative, kicked off on Earth day this year, is super simple and super impactful. For every order placed on our website, we plant a tree with our partner @offset.earth, a gold standard accredited carbon credit provider.
In less than three weeks, you’ve helped us plant over 4951 trees and offset 38.82 tonnes of carbon dioxide! Our goal is to plant 200,000 trees by the end of 2020. This would offset over 13,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, which is well over double our current footprint. This is what we mean by being climate positive.
