News #1: Our adopted orangutan, Monti, has just been released back into the wild after nine years with the fab @international_animal_rescue team. Monti arrived at the IAR rescue centre malnourished and found it hard to mingle with the other orangutans but over the years she learnt the essential skills needed for survival in the wild. She taught younger orangutans new skills and even joined the IAR surrogacy programme where she was matched with an orphaned baby, Anggun, who has been released into the wild with Monti.
News #2: Now that Monti has been released, our sponsorship has been transferred to Mary (pictured). Since being rescued from a tiny wooden cage, Mary has been attending regular forest school outings and loves a good munch on fruits and veggies. We’re super excited to share future updates on Mary. 💚
