Happy long weekend, humans! While some of us are off on wee getaways, where do our little friends go?
Over 75% of insect life has vanished in the last 30 years 🐜🐌🐞 This is terrible news, as life as we know it simply won’t exist without our tiny friends. We get it; to many of us insects are ‘gross’ or ‘creepy’, but we need to stop squashing & spraying and start encouraging them to live where we do.
So this long weekend, why not consider building an insect hotel, like these ones that our founder @briannemwest has recently bumped into. Or even better, start planting an insect friendly garden. If you see a bee who looks less than happy, see if it just needs a little energy, pop a blob of jam next to it. Without bugs, there is no us!
