“Plastic Free in the Laundry 🍃 I have decided to compile a couple of images showing the everyday items I use in different areas of the house. Hopefully I can inspire you to make some changes while we are still in the focus of #plasticfreejulynz . The laundry was probably the easiest area of my house to make changes to. I started with laundry powder and chose to go with @ecostorenz for this and purchased a couple of their big 4.5L containers. Buying in bulk is not only a cheaper option but it also lessens the amount of waste in packaging. My dad reuses these containers in his work shop as they are a great size for storing liquids, plus once he is finished with them they can be recycled! ♻️ Another product from Eco Store is their wooden pegs, I actually read today that plastic pegs can take approx. 450 years to break down! I have picked up multiple pegs off the beach as they are so easy to be swept up in drains and then into the sea 🌊. Lastly, I switched Sard and Napisan for this handy little Laundry bar from @ethiquenz . Honestly it is probably one of my favourite products by them alongside the Wonderbar conditioner. Let’s just say it got out 2 day old chocolate milk out of a light coloured merino jumper 🙌🏼 Sorry for the novel but I hope that helps! These are all simple ideas that won’t affect the bank and will help make a huge change to the environment and your lifestyle too” 💕 : @wynterdesigns #repost
