The 6th of February in Aotearoa marks out Waitangi Day, the day in which in 1840, Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the treaty of Waitangi) was signed between representatives of the British Crown and more than 500 Māori chiefs.
Te Tiriti o Waitangi drastically shaped the history of, and continues to play a significant role in the future of beautiful Aotearoa, a place we are honoured to call home.
