It's a cardboard box, so it must be compostable, right? Wrong. Unfortunately, not all cardboard is created equally...
A lot of it contains a sneaky plastic lining (that shiny stuff) that you can't compost and or even recycle in a lot of places either.

Once you've finished with the box, rip it up into tiny pieces and pop it into your compost bin or dig a hole in the garden and bury it - mother nature will do the rest 🌱
