Plastic ain't fantastic. No packaging material is perfect, but we chose aluminum over plastic for our Everist products because:
✅ aluminum is light, durable and doesn't rust
✅ aluminum can be melted down at a high temp to remove impurities left on the product
✅ aluminum can be infinitely recycled over and over again without losing quality
Here's the thing about plastic: it costs more to recycle plastic than it does to make new plastic. And plastic can only be down-cycled once, if it even makes it through the recycling process.
