The rug is hand-knotted on the loom by master weavers in Kathmandu from 100% New Zealand wool. This beautiful range is certified by GoodWeave, an organisation whose aim is to stop child labour in the carpet industry. Prior to GoodWeave over 1,000,000 children were exploited in the making of carpets and rugs and through their work, this amazing organisation has reduced this to 250,000 worldwide and continues to fight to stamp it out.
