It’s real easy to go your life without the words to describe who you are, and for that to feel like a kind of purgatory. “Bruh, I’ll come out when I can explain who I am! What I want! Where I’m at!” And then you might also feel a bit defensive, saying also: “bruh! Who even cares? Not like I need to post on Instagram about it.” Cause the words aren’t really what matters, yknow? Well, I mean, there are so many words involved. Like, you can use whichever pronouns for me you find capture me best at that moment in time. And I have a sense of who I am, now. I’m queer, and two-spirit, and if you really wanna grill me on who I’m attracted to, I guess also pan. The words help. But the real thing that counts… it’s that I can now see that this had always been there, as part of me. I always wanted to wear a skirt to the skatepark.
Thanks for the pic, @avantgardefruitfly. And thanks everyone who I’ve talked to about this skirt. It’s from lululemon 🫡
