Now, here’s the deal. In order to progress in your workouts, it’s great to incorporate the concept of progressive overload. Progressive overload is when you gradually increase the weight, frequency, or number of repetitions in your training routine. Our body is this amazing adapting machine and this helps to make sure you remain challenged while also improving your strength over time.
While weight, rep or sets are often an easy way to track increased strength, I’ve listed a few other options to help you switch it up even more. Additionally, make sure your form is on point and you are performing a proper full range of motion of the move before advancing on.
It’s also a great idea to track your rest time in between moves so you can either keep that constant or use that as a variable to progress in during your workouts.
You got this 💪
