I was recently asked about my fitness priorities since becoming a mom. And if my priorities had changed since having Sophia. π€± My answer is no, my fitness priorities are no different then they were before I had Sophia. π
ββοΈ However, what has changed within my exercise priorities is the time of day I exercise, how much time I get to spend exercising, and the type of exercise I do. πββοΈποΈββοΈπ§ββοΈ I have had to be flexible in shaping my current daily routine to mesh with my current stage of life. And honestly, everyday is different. π Some days go as planned, and then other days.... not so much. π€·ββοΈ Sophia is my first priority, but I know the importance of doing something for myself each day. β€οΈ And that thing I do for myself is exercise! πͺπ Every time I exercise I feel really proud of myself! π I feel happy, strong, and am a happier momma. π€ I know if I donβt take care of myself, I canβt take care of my baby to my best ability. π Sophia is learning by my example everyday, so I include her in my exercise as often as I can. It turns out that she really thinks itβs funny when I do burpees, and she always claps for me when I am struggling. π€£ If I ever have a day where my exercise got cut short, or didnβt happen, or I was moving at snails pace because I was tired; I donβt beat myself up over it. I just keep going with an attitude to do my best! π
