I was recently asked about my fitness priorities since becoming a mom. And if my priorities had changed since having Sophia. 🀱 My answer is no, my fitness priorities are no different then they were before I had Sophia. πŸ™…β€β™€οΈ However, what has changed within my exercise priorities is the time of day I exercise, how much time I get to spend exercising, and the type of exercise I do. πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈπŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ I have had to be flexible in shaping my current daily routine to mesh with my current stage of life. And honestly, everyday is different. πŸ™ƒ Some days go as planned, and then other days.... not so much. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Sophia is my first priority, but I know the importance of doing something for myself each day. ❀️ And that thing I do for myself is exercise! πŸ’ͺπŸ˜€ Every time I exercise I feel really proud of myself! πŸ™Œ I feel happy, strong, and am a happier momma. πŸ€— I know if I don’t take care of myself, I can’t take care of my baby to my best ability. πŸ‘Ž Sophia is learning by my example everyday, so I include her in my exercise as often as I can. It turns out that she really thinks it’s funny when I do burpees, and she always claps for me when I am struggling. 🀣 If I ever have a day where my exercise got cut short, or didn’t happen, or I was moving at snails pace because I was tired; I don’t beat myself up over it. I just keep going with an attitude to do my best! πŸ‘Š
