👋 Hi! I didn’t mean to do a disappearing act on here, but sometimes life just gets in the way and suddenly a month goes by without you noticing…
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Alex, the founder of Fashercise (and currently the only member of staff, as I run the business on my own - for now).
Just wanted to check in and give you a little update. I’m currently weeks away from welcoming baby number 2 - two under two incoming, help! It hasn’t been the easiest pregnancy so far, and with a crazy toddler to run after this time around, I’ve been struggling to find a balance between work, self-care and enjoying the last few weeks of being a mum of one.
Orders are packed between naps, emails sent during late nights and new stock uploaded far slower than I would like (the new Varley collection is currently waiting to be launched 🙈). Keeping on top of everything has been a struggle to be perfectly honest… I’m just very tired 😂
The good news is that I’ve got a solution - 2 weeks ago I got the keys to a brand new warehouse/office, and will be hiring a new team to take some of this pressure off, enjoy the new baby and focus on the parts of the business I love! However, the timing couldn’t be worse, so I’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the big move until I am back on my feet after the baby arrives.
So, hang in there with me - if I’m not posting as often as I’d like, it doesn’t mean I’m not here behind the scenes, appreciating every order, launching new collections and holding the fort. Keep checking the website as lots of new stuff has been arriving, with a lot more to come!
And finally, to all you multitasking mums out there, I feel you - the juggle is real!
