Pregnancy is crazy. . Your body quite literally changes from the inside ⇨ out. No matter how hard you try to “hold on” to your body, it’s going to change drastically. But change isn’t always bad. We talk about change in things we do for ourselves: we change our mentality, we change our attitude, we change our bodies, we change our eating habits- the list is endless of things we endure as positive ones so why can’t pregnancy be a positive change? I need to practice what I preach! So maybe this message is for me? Or maybe it’s for that pregnant soon to be mom? Or maybe it’s for the ladies who are struggling to take the plunge into motherhood? Or maybe it’s the mom who is still struggling in her postpartum body? Whomever this message speaks to, remember that we perceive change in either a negative or positive way. Our minds create the stimulus around change and around pregnancy. . I’ve been honest. I don’t like the change it does to me but I endure the change and keep it as positive as I can because the outcome of a family is more impactful to my overall life then when my body changes for a temporary 8-9 months. Plus, I don’t believe you get your “old body back” or that even being a thing. I created a new body after my first baby that was STRONGER and BETTER. I plan to do it again after baby 2 but going even further with my fitness and health. . It doesn’t stop because you’re pregnant. Keep up with your health and keep up with your fitness and know that all of these changes are 100% temporary. CHANGE is always a choice and I’m doing my best to keep it positive and so should you. ☀️
