✨Trying to lose that last 5 pounds?👇
I was talking to someone who said she’s been consistent with her nutrition and workouts for 30 years. She’s in great shape.
She has been able to stay at basically the same body composition simply by having some good habits in place, by working out consistently and choosing nutrient dense foods most of the time... Then of course enjoying treats and glasses of wine periodically.
👉She said, “You know, it’s interesting... I’ve been trying to lose that last 5 pounds for 30 years, but what if I just internalized that this is where my body feels the best?”
That’s POWERFUL.
A simple mindset shift from focusing on the weight on the scale to this is where your body feels the best can take away tons of unnecessary stress and frustration.
⚠️It’s not “giving up.” It’s not “not living up to your potential.”
💛It’s simply measuring progress differently so you don’t have to be owned by a number.
✔️Do you work hard in your workouts?
✔️Do you continually try to challenge yourself to improve?
✔️Do you make healthy eating choices the majority of the time?
✔️Do you feel energized and productive?
👆These focuses will help set you up for success mentally AND physically to get healthy and fit for life.
These can help you change your body composition, increase strength, have more energy, build tons of confidence...
What you THINK you want is to lose that last 5 pounds...but when it comes down to it, what you really want is to feel amazing and incredibly confident.
Strong. Healthy. Confident.
I bet you’d take that deal.
