I got an email from a parent today that had nothing to do with school. And it might have been the biggest compliment I ever received. She thanked me for being a positive female for her daughter. How her daughter tells her that, “Miss Baker has big muscles. I want big muscles too.” And “That Miss Baker says girls can do anything boys can do.”

They are always watching. And man, that’s pretty cool. And I realized, I am who I am because of the strong females I surround myself with. So, thanks girls for pushing me to be my best self.
