THE TRUTH IS... π€ππΌββοΈ

i just donβt feel like I fit into the traditional physical therapy world. the sterile offices. the lack of actual functional movement tools that exist in modern a modern provider setting. the lack of pride and care OTHER therapists take when it comes to their own health, mindset, and educational growth. the revolving door of patients. the demand to juggle 5-6 patients at a time. that is a waitress. not a physical therapist. β
healthcare is changing. if therapists who have 7 years of education at the doctorate level want to compete with wellness coaches, personal trainers, and extremely knowledgeable gym owners across the CrossFit landscape - therapists must change or be left behind. β
no offense to my peers -we need people who want to work with geriatrics and the post-operative population. iβm just not one of them. β
i want to work with motivated active people who are trying to achieve a physical goal. i want to be able to focus on movement and use my background in crossfit and olympic weightlifting to solve difficult movement based problems. i want to see patients that have already been to 2-3 other providers and are no better. β
have a nagging issue you have been meaning to address ?! shoot me a DM. ever had a less than pleasant experience at physical therapy ? comment below. π€π€
