My training is a form of my worship.
Every time I step into my session, I worship harder than ever.
Honestly, it’s probably the most intense form of worship for me.
Throughout every moment I write, speak, sing, devote -
God hits me different when I TRAIN.
I block out all of the noise.
I turn on my worship music, I feel, I praise, and I move.
I battled an eating disorder for years.
Years of my life spent thinking I was never enough.
That the smaller I became, the closer I was to loving myself.
Until I found everything I needed and more in Christ.
The one who crafted me so perfectly in His hands.
The one who had every intention with the path He paved for me.
This body He gave me lifts me off of the ground every time I fall.
Every time I’m uncomfortable during my training, I know I’m being challenged - and I use that physical analogy for a mental subconscious to get better.
To be better so I can show up stronger.
Its like a minor valley moment -
can I pull this weight? It feels really heavy today ..
can I finish this? It feels like I’m slowing down ..
am I capable of this? It feels like it may take awhile ..
I can pull any weight by looking at where my strength comes from - the Lord.
I can finish anything, regardless of my pace - knowing the direction always has a purpose.
I’m capable of anything when I never give up, and I know God is bringing me through whatever it is.
And that moment where I feel im stuck in a valley turns into a hill where I know God knew what the outcome was the entire time.
When I fail, I still succeed.
Because I get to learn, evolve, and get better.
An imperfect person, serving a perfect God.
Worshipping everyday in ANY way I know how - this just happens to be one of MY favorite forms ♥️
