This lady is my hero. We’ve been competing in America’s Strongest Woman together for seven years now, counting two years that it was still part of amateur nationals. News flash: we’re not super young. She was like “hold on, I think I’m gonna skip a year or two to have a baby, but I’ll be right back” and I was like “cool I’ll hold your spot and fight anybody who tries to take it.” I saw her earlier this year with her newborn and she said “oh yeah, I’m just gonna cut this baby weight real quick and I’ll be there in October!” I was like “no way!” and Jess was all “hold my beer and watch this.” I’ll be damned if she didn’t get shredded, show up, make weight, compete, and take care of a baby in between events. Also, one year I didn’t wear USA-themed outfits to ASW because I figured we were all from the same country and didn’t need to identify, and I turned out to be the only un-American loser, so now we go full-on freedom-butts every year. #prostrongwoman #americasstrongestwoman #mompower #freedombutts
