“I want to look like you”
Or “I want to look like this person”, “this fitness influencer”, or “this athlete”.
I hear this often from people or clients who are setting their fitness goals. Now there is nothing wrong with wanting to make physical changes, complete a body transformation, and drop inches, but what can get toxic is comparing your body with someone elses and making that be your end goal.
You’re doing your body a disservice when you do this. You’re indirectly telling yourself that your body shape or type is not quite good enough.
It may not seem like a big deal to say this or think this way, but the little details and constant messages you tell yourself add up.
Strive to feel, be and look like a better version of YOU. Not anyone else.
Let’s start the week off with lots of self love! Throw some 🥰 down below👇🏽
