✨KIPPING HANDSTAND PUSH-UP TIPS✨ 1. Make sure to kick up to the wall fully locked out to start the rep [CF Standard] 2. When setting your hands, you want to be about a hand length away from the wall. If you’re too far away it can cause you to stray away or create a c shape at the top [Chalk up & set hands before you start your workout so you aren’t guessing every time you kick up] 3. When lowering, elbows should track over your wrists [If you’re too narrow, you’re losing pressing power. You can always adjust your hands at the bottom] 4. During the descent, butt goes to the wall and knees come to your chest when your noggin hits the mat. 5. Drive your heels up to the ceiling using a violent kick up [Heels slightly graze the wall to know where you’re at in space] 6. LOOK FORWARD through the rep. [This is the most common mistake I see made] When you get to a sticky spot during your kip, push your head through for a more efficient pressing position. Think of a push/strict press! 7. Finishing position: shoulders locked out, head in neutral position, butt away from the wall and heels touching at the top! 8. Practice & have fun! 👊🏻 📸 alexis.kyser #cfovertake #modballs #team #squad #strongwomen #cbdmd #hipso #hipmobility #swolverine #adaptordie #iamswolverine #fleo #onepercentbettereveryday #eax #crossfit #workout #junk #fitmom #whoop #fitness #junkbrands #beam #2poodperformance #rogue #thefitboxx #team2POOD #liftheavy
