✨it’s okay to be selfish✨
Someone I haven’t talked to for a while texted me the other day and said..
“Hey it’s been a minute. But I just wanted to let you know you have seemed so happy lately. I don’t know what changed, but I’m happy for you”
This isn’t the first time someone has said this these last months, and its crazy to think about because I’ve always thought I was happy. But the one thing I have changed is I’m being a lot more selfish. I’m saying yes more to opportunities, and loving it. If I want something, I’m going after it. Im putting myself first for once and glad it showing. I’m still putting other people first most of the time cause it’s who I am.. but im taking time for me these days. 🤍
I’m so happy in this crazy life and I wouldn’t change where I’m at right now for anything.
