First day of summer/almost the end of the first half of the year came and went 🌞
I still wholeheartedly believe what I wrote in early January. I am walking through and into seasons of abundance - of love, creative ideas, powerful words, and continued passion for my ever-evolving project of Difficult Pursuits.
I don’t show up here consistently, but I show up honestly. Years of trial and error, some successes, a few hard to swallow failures, changing timelines - unfiltered and raw. A devotion to the work that builds others up and gives them opportunities I myself long for. Rock solid, doubtless dedication to my dream and being an example for other girls and women like me ✊🏾
June has been a month of rest and resetting expectations to keep the momentum going sustainably, of looking back and appreciating what’s been accomplished thus far. I feel ready to keep it going, ready to get this body and mind to do things it’s never done before. I’m stretching the idea of what “Difficult Pursuits” can be and hope you’re along for the ride.
I’ve been struggling with “wanting to post/be here” more often, but truth be told, I’m not here to share pretty visuals. I want to show you what can happen when you don’t let a dream die. And that I’ll do in time.
