7 years alcohol-free today. That’s a long fucking time, guys! 🙏🏽
It’s wild to look back on.
Initially? It was an easy decision. You’ve heard this before, but no bullshit, I woke up one morning, face first in the toilet & said, “I’m done with this shit.”
What wasn’t easy? Dealing with everything. Feeling everything. Feeling like I didn’t know who the fuck I was. Feeling like I had to start over. (Spoiler: I’m so glad I did!)
I’ll never sugarcoat that. Hands down some of the realest, heaviest shit I’ve ever lifted.
But I’ll tell you this - lifting that is why I am so strong today. Physically, sure. But in my sense of self, my life path.. my goals, my grit, my passion.
How’d it know it was the right decision for me? Because I never questioned why I was doing it. I just kept moving forward, working on me, building.
I haven’t looked back, not even for even a millisecond, since August 10, 2015.
When you know, you know. Then you gotta fucking run with it. Anything in life. Everything in life.
So what’s up guys? This is me running with it. You can do it, too. You’re literally ONE decision away from becoming your best self, creating your best life.
It’s that easy/not that easy/so fucking worth it.
