You know that audio going around that’s like “I want my kids to know that I didn’t just love them, I truly enjoyed them”…
That’s been replaying in my head so much lately. I think it’s REALLY easy to get caught up in escaping things - trying to get away, trying to find time, trying to make things easy. We can so easily forget how quick these little years go - I can already see it.
I’ve really been trying to be intentional about ENJOYING these babies. Making things fun and memorable, playing, laughing, taking longer to get somewhere because Reign can’t stay focused, or Rylin pooped her diaper on the way out the door 😵💫. Holding them a little longer, making messes, playing silly games, reading another book, pushing back bedtime to play outside more.
Enjoyment is a mindset man.
