Hand switches are a fun way to spice up a flow, as well as make things more smooth and efficient when switching from side to side. I like to use tactical snatches and tactical cleans for that purpose, instead of throwing in an extra swing or parking on the floor to switch hands.
Here’s the workout:
20 Minutes • E2MOM (every 2 minutes on the minute; complete the following and rest the remainder of the 2 minutes)
Tactical Snatch
Hang Snatch
Long Press (2)
*repeat on other side
Superset with:
Skaters (15/side) [not shown]
*Rest remainder of 2 minutes
In this complex, I’m parking the bell to show a clear start and end from one side to the other, but you could absolutely flow through this without coming to a dead stop in the hike by immediately coming out of the final long press into the next tactical snatch.
Another thing to note is I’m doing an overhand to underhand transition for the tactical snatch, which is the same as the tactical clean and in part why I initially teach this hand transition - but you could absolutely do an overhand to overhand transition to make it more punchy if you’d like! I’d suggest practicing both. 🤙🏼🌊♥️
