2 weeks post show - let’s talk about it
Cardio has been lowered
Food has been increased
My body feels slightly fatigued from traveling not even 1 week post show.
Now that I’m home and settled in - my body has been feeling a lot better.
For those new to a reversing here’s a few things to keep in mind.
> Your body is in recovery mode, be kind to yourself
> Don’t buy all the processed food - you will eat it
> Sugar is addicting and can spark cravings- don’t open the floodgate
Biggest thing to remember is the food isn’t going anywhere. I had a few moments of enjoying some sweets and I had to course correct quickly.
It can be a downward slope if you don’t know how to shake off the cravings.
Remember that cravings are in your head - unless you are physically in pain or your stomach is growling, you most likely aren’t experiencing real hunger
The best way to combat cravings is to journal, get out for a walk, drink water (fluids will fill you up), take a nap - go out and be social/run errands.
It helps if you aren’t sitting around at home bored.
If we can prep for 20 weeks we can reverse for 4-8 weeks. This is temporary and your body will get back to homeostasis.
