As cliché as it may be, The Floyd Leg in many ways began in a garage. Over the summer of 2013, Kyle and I were working with friends on building out a workspace. The building was a former auto-garage (used for storage at the time) in the North Corktown neighborhood of Detroit. As fall began, the plan was hatched to launch a Kickstarter for The Floyd Leg (without any real plans beyond that). - Alex
