If you keep up to date on our stories, yesterday you may have seen us mention something we shared from Erin called “Pink Friday.” You’re probably wondering, what is Pink Friday?! Here’s the low-down:
For starters, here at Flutter we are a part of a community called The Boutique Hub. The Boutique Hub is so many things to us-a spirit we share of community over competition, and a source that we use to stay connected to the boutique industry as a whole. They provide us with so many tools that we use on a daily basis to keep us informed, up-to-date, and properly educated on everything we need to know to make Flutter an amazing experience for you all. 🤍
That being said, Pink Friday is one HUGE day dedicated to #ShopSmallFirst - before Black Friday & before the big guys. It’s a nationwide campaign created by The Boutique Hub!💗 Pink Friday is a boutique spin on the traditional Black Friday shopping experience, reminding people to #ShopSmallFirst.
Black Friday is the largest shopping day of the year, but the sales and promotions from big box stores often overshadow the experiences that small businesses are focused on providing, like service, quality, and love. The goal on November 20th is to celebrate the businesses that are the backbone of our local community and boutique industry, whether online or brick and mortar!
