I discovered a passion for boutique shopping while strolling the shops of Hillsboro Village in Nashville. We were at Vanderbilt for countless therapy appointments as he rehabbed from a Blackhawk crash while he was serving at Ft. Campbell. Fast forward 10 years, we took a trip back so he could play golf in the National Amputee Golf Tournament. While shopping those same shops I used stroll, I was just as in love and even more inspired by the boutique experience. I mentioned to him we should do this. I was sorta kidding. Sorta not. But he took it seriously and within 7 weeks we were ready to open. It just so happened that we were ready to open the week of Veterans Day. I was trying to plan around that day but in his eyes there was no better day than this day. ♥️
