My relationship status with Instagram has recently changed from ‘casual’ ❣️ to ‘it’s complicated’ 💔. Previously, we spent long casual evenings together 🍷. Myself, a lurker in the background; scrolling through unnoticed, rarely liking, never commenting, and always judging 🤦♀️. Instagram so courteously served up beautiful images of all types of products I didn’t know I needed 🧥👗👠💍👜,but now had to have. I barely noticed when someone tried to add me and couldn’t tell you how many followers I had.
NOW, I’m scrolling through my feed like a rabid animal 🐺. Searching for posts like mine, preying on the people who comment, and trying to seduce them with casual banter.
