Lets talk about chains! Shopping for preloved chains online can be tough, here are a few tips and tricks I would recommend to get you started:
As always, take inventory of what you have. Go through your collection and see what styles you have, the various lengths... and from there, identify the gaps.
What lengths are you missing? What styles are you missing?
Try to get outside your comfort zone! When we only buy what we know and what we are comfortable with, we tend to end up with a collection that consists of all the same thing! The result, you might feel like you never have anything to wear or it is difficult to build out different looks - it is one dimensional!
Incorporate different textures, different lengths, different styles!
The easiest way to create a stack is to use 2 chains with the same link (different length) and introduce a 3rd chain that is a different style and different texture!
3 dimensional chains (not flat style chains) are really great to wear with pendants
Higher karat = Higher Price
Higher weight = Higher Price
Identify what is important to you and don't compromise on that!
A chain extender will help expand the life of your chain collection!
