You’ll notice this week’s photo dump is very on theme with the upcoming drop (iykyk newsletter subscribers😉).
After much debate, I finally bought a Babaa knit sweater, a sustainable brand from Spain. I’ve heard only the best things about the quality and I can confirm, it’s amazing. I went with the cotton jumper no16 & 84. I love the shape, material, the feel, the fit, all if it. They are a one size brand, which I can’t quite wrap my head around, but I like how they fit on my body.
Now I never thought I would say this - but Tiktok made me do it 🫠. I saw a video of someone flipping the waistband of their jeans over bc they were so loose. My initial thought was, that’s ridiculous. But I remembered I had a (very) oversized pair of jeans that a cool girl on IG probably influenced me to buy, and then I remembered I am no IG cool girl and never really wore them. I pulled them out of the closet and did the flip... and I must say, I really liked how it looked (and felt)! Think of it as a tool if you come across the perfect jeans at a thrift store and the waist is too big or if you want to go shopping in your partner’s closet!
And last but certainly not least, while I am not one to show this much skin... ever, I had to give Prairie swim a shout out! Prairie Swim is a female owned, Canadian lifestyle swimwear brand. I know and love one of the cofounders (we used to work together at L’Oreal). I had been swooning over their suits for a long time and finally bought a two. I love the fit, fabric and quality. I’m so happy about this purchase!
That’s all for now. Happy Saturday.
