Hibiscus Sabdariffa. It’s one of the most beautiful plants in Jamaica. Hibiscus is the foundation for delicious sorrel, soothing tea and other cultural elixirs which always manage to lift the spirits. The hibiscus is an international star with a global fan base. Some trace the origins of the hibiscus flower back to the motherland. In the African markets it has different names. It’s called “Bissap" in Senegal, “Sobolo” in Ghana and “Zobolo” in Nigeria.
