So ecstatic to be wearing my Mini Self Love ring!! I had purchased the original several months ago but knew the moment I saw the ruby Mini, I had to have it! And so, after talking with a dear friend of mine who had her own struggles, I realized who deserved it more! She has worn it ever since!! As for myself.. I never understood the whole ‘love yourself’ bit growing up. Sure it was spoken of, but I often laughed it off as just an idle thought. But as I watched so many around me while venturing through school, college and relationships (including a marriage that didn’t last), I realized that perhaps it really was important. Yet, how do I go about it? I never liked anything about me (people critiqued me, broke me down, picked me apart, laughed at me) ..which made me think what was there to truly love about myself? If everyone else around me could only see my faults and not the good, kind, smart soul beyond.. then what good was I even to me? It was not until I heard about your organization through my mother, that I soon began to understand who mattered more. ME!! Numero Uno! Between reading how you came to be, to the many stories from others, I instantly felt a connection! Since then, I have begun to make changes for myself. And although my current relationship may not last, I am perfectly fine with it because I know I can hold my own, be my own and love the woman I am coming to accept, faults and all!!
