I started doing this exercise with my 4 year old daughters this week. We go in a circle and fill in the blank about ourselves. At first, they kept gravitating to I like, instead of I am. And even I, someone who is diligently trying to practice Self Love daily, had a hard time. What am I? I am creative. I am loving. I am... I really had to search myself, and I witnessed my daughters grappling with it too. One kept making a joke of it "I am goofy" and the other would repeat me. So we're going to keep at it, and I will continue to report back. Because self worth comes from self knowledge. And we could all, at any age, stand to get to know ourselves better. And when you have an arsenal of I am's ready, it's easier to drown out the I'm not's. So for me, today I am brave, because there's a lot of change and uncertainty and I'm calm and my heart is open to all of it. What about you? Let me know in a comment. ? #iam .
