"Today officially marks my 5th year of being single. Yeah, it gets lonely sometimes, but I'd rather be single than be with the wrong person. I don't want to fall in love... I want to grow in love. During my time alone, I have discovered the kind of person I am and learned to love me for me. It gave me time to care for myself and love myself before I learn to do that for another person. I discovered what I want and what I need rather than what social media is telling me what a "real relationship" is or looks like. I'm done with being "not good enough" for anyone. Today, I embrace this beautiful day to celebrate self love. I'm not going to dress up and look pretty for anyone because I don't have to. No one can say I look like a slob for being me.
