Look closely and you'll see that this is a bicolour diamond ring! While the band of the ring is made from 18 karat yellow gold, the settings which hold the diamonds are made in 18 karat white gold. Some feel that white gold against white or colourless diamonds is a more complimentary pairing than a contrasting gold colour, and others think it's just cool to incorporate more than one colour of gold into their rings!
