What's a Crown Jubilee diamond, you ask? It's a special cut that was developed to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897. Jubilee cuts do not have a flat 'table' top, but instead have smaller facets that come to a peak, similar to a rose-cut gem. This diamond was recut into a Jubilee from another old style, the Old European cut, so we know it dates from a similar time period. 🤓📖👑
