CANTEEN COPS • as advocates of healthy eating its an interesting read in today’s paper about the idea that school canteens need to be policed to offer only healthy food as part of the fight against fat! “While schools in most states had healthy canteen policies in place, the majority of tuckshops outside of NSW were not policed and many did not follow their own guidelines ...” Sadly we would have to agree with this statement. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to rely on our schools to offer our kids the best food choices. Not all healthy food is bland and boring.
