I was chatting with friends last night about a journey I took through Tibet when Gaia Conceptions was just beginning. It was a particularly insightful trip as 2 of my travel companions have dedicated there lives to the study of Buddhism, both on a scholarly and spiritual level. On their itinerary was to visit a master Thangka painter. You simple sit with the painter and tell him about your hopes and dreams for this life and then he will paint the Thankga that is right for you. My request was simple “ I want to create beautiful clothing for woman and I always want the foundation of those creations to honor and protect Mother Gaia”. It has been 8 years now sense my journey and in that time Gaia has grown into an amazing community that is just what I wished for. If you are reading this then in some way you are the reason Gaia Conceptions exist and for that I am eternally Thankful. ?
