Tomorrow is Earth Day.
Created as a movement for the youth to take on environmental issues that need to be addressed. On the very first Earth Day in 1970, 20 million Americans took over to demonstrate the need for a healthy, sustainable environment. Students rose up across thousands of colleges and universities to take a stand for the ocean, grasslands, wildlife, human rights, and trees. This has since become a global movement to help better our planet.
In 2021, Globe continues to help plant well over three times the amount of trees it harvests annually for @globebrand_skateboards production through our partnership with the National Forest Foundation (@nationalforests) by donating to their annual tree planting programs.
