Since beginning ReGrowth in 2018, we have partnered with the National Forest Foundation (@nationalforests) to donate to their annual tree planting programs. In 2021, Globe continues to help plant well over three times the amount of trees it harvests annually for skateboard production.
With Earth Day just around the corner (April 22nd) we wanted to bring to attention all the great things the NFF does for our planet.
Earth Day was created as a movement for youth to take on environmental issues that need to be addressed. On the very first Earth Day in 1970, 20 million Americans took over to demonstrate the need for a healthy, sustainable environment. Students rose up across thousands of colleges and universities to take a stand for the ocean, grasslands, wildlife, human rights, and trees.
