Operating out of his small apartment in Highland Park, Los Angeles, Sterling Bartlett is a long time Globe collaborator, artist, designer, bread baker, and hot sauce maker. For this series, Bartlett employed a new work flow inspired by the late artist Romare Bearden: Half collage, half painting.
