Soap Dipped Fabric Hearts
Soap dipped fabric pieces are a great way to create single-use washes ideal for travel, kids' parties or other large get togethers. Each heart will contain one hand wash to a shower's worth of soap.
Ingredients:
Pretty Fabric of your choice
#GloryBee Translucent Melt and Pour Soap Base
Instructions:
1. With pinking shears, cut hearts out of fabric (4"-5" width works well). Set aside.
2. Cut soap base into 1-inch square blocks and melt in a double boiler or the microwave (if you use the microwave, heat in 30-second increments, mixing between heating sessions). 3. Remove from heat and add skin-safe essential oil or fragrance oil to your liking. A good rule of thumb is to start with 1 tsp of fragrance/essential oil for every 16 oz. of soap base you use, and go from there. Be careful not to over-use fragrance, or the soap won't solidify properly.
4. Dip fabric hearts into the melted soap base, then remove and lay flat on a sheet of freezer paper.
5. When cool, peel off freezer paper, and your soap heart is ready to use!
