Forest's Warmth

As the temperature continues to get colder and colder in the lower mainland I thought I'd post a cozy forest shot .
The shot was taken after a failed attempt at trying to reach another favorite waterfall. On our way to Kennedy Falls to capture the snow tristan.todd and I decided that it was too dangerous to keep slogging through the snow. With heavy branches snapping under the weight of the snow it was only a matter of time until someone in our party got hit and was hurt.
After quickly warming up with some hot cocoa we opted for our plan B and headed to one of Tristan's favorite spots. And wow was it epic! I definitely will be headed back here in a few weeks to explore this stunning forest more. Graced with a moment of sun rays I lucked out in capturing this shot handheld, and it might be one of my new favorite shots. For me, Forest's Warmth encapsulates the stunning plant growth and beauty of the British Columbia temperate rainforests.
