Chirping of early birds mark the passage of time, as the scent of a nighttime rain brings clarity to a clouded mind.
Each step, silent among the damp dirt and foliage. Each breathe of the brisk, mountain air brings purpose to the journey.
For to experience the story of the wild is to know the story of self. All the ups and downs, all the chaos and beauty, all the effort and recovery. All that is required is for us to awaken to the senses!-

SETTINGS: ISO 640 <> f/5.0 <> 1/640 second
THE SHOT: This is a 13 shot panorama stacked vertically. It includes 3 actual frames, with roughly 4 shots per frame, each taken at a different exposure to make up the 13 shots. Post work done in lightroom , with basic lighting and color adjustments.
THE SPOT: This location I know well for the most that rises above the pines after a good rain storm. I headed out this morning, hoping it would have the same affect a few hours after the storm and was pleasantly pleased with the results.
