This year’s Christmas DIY at Gotain features oyster shells. We love pairing them with elegant ribbons, creating a textile-inspired tablescape with woven linen napkins in mustard, or turning them into beautiful ornaments for the Christmas tree.
You’ll need:
Oysters, ribbons, pearls, a drill with a bit, and something sturdy to drill on that you don’t mind damaging.
1. Drill a hole in your desired spot to thread the ribbon through.
2. Thread the ribbon through the hole. Use a thicker needle if it’s difficult to pull through.
3. Use the shells in table settings or as ornaments on the tree, adding a pearl for an extra festive touch. 🌲📯
