I was approached by Google to illustrate today's #GoogleDoodle, celebrating Anasuya Sarabhai's 132nd birth anniversary. Her legacy dates back to 1914, when she helped fight for the equality of female textile workers who were severely overworked and underpaid. Sarabhai opened schools for underprivileged students and toilets for women; was India's first female union leader and championed the women's labour movement. She was a REVOLUTIONARY and became the voice for women across the nation. I am eternally grateful to be involved with this project, and excited to share it with all of you. Some days feel like an absolute dream. Today is one of those days.
